Sheriff & QC Duscuss Generation Long Question: “Chevy or Dodge?” Video

At a recent quorum court budget committee meeting, Sheriff Tommy Sturgeon told the group that the state bid choice for the sheriffs department trucks that they had discussed, had been removed from the list, and were no longer available.
It seems Ford does not have a vehicle listed for that purpose/package.
Dodge does have a vehicle that would meet that purpose, but has a 6 month wait time.
A local Chevy dealer has a couple of acceptable vehicles, but at a slightly higher price.
The committee told Sheriff Sturgeon that he did a good job managing his department, and that they trusted his judgment.
His decision was easy to figure out, based on his earlier statement, “Please, don’t make me buy a Dodge.”
