Shelia Yvette Deal

Shelia Yvette Deal, age 60 of Monticello, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Louisville University Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born March 1, 1960 in Port Arthur, TX to Robert Lafayette Deal and Janette Stephenson Deal and was the baby of their 7 children.
Shelia moved to Monticello with her parents when she was in the 9th grade and graduated from Monticello High School. She was an avid reader, cook and gardener. She was a youth teacher and member at Tillar First Baptist Church when her children were growing up. She loved her children, grandchildren and animals and her Boston terrier companion, Sadie was always by her side.
Shelia was proceeded in death by her mother and father, a brother Robert Nolan “Bobo” Deal, a sister Linda Richard, a special nephew Robert “Bobby” Nolan Deal, and niece Kelly Deal.
Shelia is survived by her 3 children, Eric Gamble and wife Brooke and Cassi Gamble Boren both of Monticello, and Mallorie Gamble Plaisance of Radcliff, Ky, and 8 grandchildren, Kolten Gamble, Raynee Durham, Jackson Boren, Noah Gamble, Trenton Boren, Gavin Miller, Rileigh Miller, Nolan Miller. She is also survived by her Sisters Gail Howell (Bently), Sandra Jett (Jack), Carolyn Lucas (Tim), and Bobbie Faye Deal, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation and memorial will be held Saturday, January 23, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Monticello, AR.
Visitation starts at 1 pm with the memorial service starting at 2 pm.
