Sex Offender Arrested on Child Rape Charges

A previously registered sex offender has been arrested for the alleged rape of a 5 year old child.
John Paul King, Jr. was arrested, in November, for the incident, which reportedly occurred last summer, based on allegations from the child’s mother.
The case is still under investigation by the Monticello Police Dept.
King currently remains in the Drew County Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond.

Gee, your two lead stories today involve children being attacked by vicious “animals”. In my opinion, these “animals” should be put down for the safety of the community. Period.
Such a low bail it should be much higher. I wonder how he was even around a child.

There isn’t any thing they can do to him that will make up for what he did to that innocent child. I think Lorena Bobbett and a salad shooter would make a good start. His bail should have been set at $500,000 at least. He doesn’t ever need to be a free man, if you can call him that, again.
Now we all have our opinion because we are entitled to that but a strong spiritual feeling tells me that this young man is innocent so lets leave the judging up to the man above he knows what happened this young man and his daughter know as well……
Its easy to make a child that young say what you want her to say because she doesn’t know better lets see how the mother is living because apparently this child is not being raised n a safe stable environment when u have kids that’s a blessing from above its not about u anymore I think the mother knew he was a sex offender and it was easy to put this off on him but god will seek true justice n the end young lady you know the truth but you got so much hate for your child’s father that u allow the devil to manipulate u
So quick to condem the pitbull but let this piece of crap get away with a slap. Why not put him down? Pitbulls aren’t animals it’s the PEOPLE who breed and train them to be vicious. This demon has no one to blame.
I wish that the Court system would realize that it is not safe to let these sex offenders/child molesters out on bail or out of prison. They cannot be cured of this sickness from which they suffer. Putting them on some register for sex offenders does not really do anything to protect innocent children. The only true thing that will work is neutering. If you are going to let these molesters out in the public make sure you take their testosterone away from them. It may not work in all cases but it will lessen the threat.
This makes me sick to my stomach….My prayers go out to this child and every child that is hurt by sicko’s like him…..

I agree with Mel. These people do this, then go to jail and live off of our taxes and we are paying for them to get everything free while the victim and family suffer. Pedophiles, molesters, rapists and murderers need to be executed via electric chair. The “Justice” system SUCKS!!! Need to go back to chain gangs, no A/C, no modern farm equipment, no Internet, weight room. They have it made n jail. No bills, free health insurance, free medical treatment. It’s not right…..these guys need castrated not just neutered then put to death. God, please help the truth to come out, Amen.
It’s some people who have a forgiving heart, it’s some people who believe that horrible people can change. This child’s mother is not at fault… yes I know the young lady…she is doing her own thing! You sound very ignorant for speaking about something you don’t know SQUAT about…a child’s innocence was taken…not by a stranger but by someone she knew..scar number one…she won’t be able to trust people so easily, cause a child will always remember..scar number 2…she will have to deal with ignorant people..instead of tryna find someone else to blame…STAND UP FOR WHAT’S RIGHT!!!
