Secret Service Investigating Case Involving Local Man
February 25th, 2009 by Joe BurgessThe Little Rock office of the United States Secret Service has confirmed that their agency came to Drew County last week, as a part of an investigation, involving a local resident, Bodie Nichols.  Nichols reportedly uses an address on State School Road.
Since the investigation is ongoing, very little information is available except that the case deals with a “possible violation of the core of the Secret Service.”Â
The two purposes of the Secret Service are to insure the protection of elected national officials and matters relating to U.S. currency.
Members of the agency interviewed Nichols, but no other details are being released at this time. There were no arrests made.
Upon it’s completion, the investigation will be turned over to the U.S. Attorney, to decide if charges are to be filed.
