Search Warrant Leads to Parolee’s Arrest

Jason Akers of the Tenth Drug Task Force, a recent search warrant was executecd and led to the arrest of a Monticello man and the confiscation of an estimated 100 bags and individual rocks of crack cocaine, along with several ounces of marijuana and packaging material.
Task Force Agents, assisted by Monticello Police and the Drew County Sheriff’s Department executed the search warrant after a two month investigation into trafficking at the residence of Herman Folk Jr, age 38. Folk Jr. is currently on parole. He is charged with 3 counts of delivery of crack cocaine as well as possession of crack cocaine with the intent to deliver, furnishing prohibited articles into a correctional facility and possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver.
