Saline River Search for Stolen Vehicle to Resume this Morning – Update

Several local law enforcement agencies’ search for a stolen SUV, reported out of Monticello, Wednesday afternoon, has led them to the Saline River Bridge on the Bradley/Drew County line.
The stolen vehicle was reported around 3 PM. The Bradley County Sheriff’s Department arrested a suspicious person in the area around 4 PM.
When the vehicle was reported missing, it had a trailer and a Honda blue 4-wheeler on it. Anyone who may see the missing four wheeler, please contact MPD at 367-3411.
The search for the vehicle was called off, due to darkness and the river’s fast current, around 9 pm. It will resume Thursday morning.
Anthony Randall, as of Wednesday night, was being held on Bradley County drug charges. He also matches the description of the man involved with the theft of the SUV.
The investigation is still underway, as well.
