SeaArk Boats and Affiliate Companies Conduct Massive Local Service Project
July 10th, 2023 by SubmittedIn an extraordinary demonstration of community engagement, about 100 employees from Correct Craft, a Florida-based leader in the boating industry, and owner of SeaArk Boats, a revered local boat manufacturer, are serving this week in Monticello. They are investing their time, talents, and financial resources into local service projects that positively impact three local organizations.
Multiple construction teams over a ten-day period are simultaneously working on major renovation projects at the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services Center, the Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home, and the Options Domestic Violence Center.
At the Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Family Services center, a team is repainting their pavilion and other outer facilities, as well as constructing two new gazebos. The improvements will provide residents with peaceful outdoor spaces for recreation and socializing.
At the Arkansas Baptist Children’s Home, a team of skilled craftspeople are rebuilding a gazebo, creating a relaxing retreat for children and staff, and enhancing the children’s home nurturing environment.
Finally, at the Options Domestic Violence Shelter, teams are entirely remodeling their home. The work includes a complete kitchen remodeling, a new storage building, and an overall upgrade with fresh paint and new flooring throughout the house. These enhancements will improve the center’s capacity and environment, providing a more comfortable refuge for those fleeing domestic violence.
The receiving organizations and the local community have enthusiastically welcomed these projects. SeaArk Boats and the other Correct Craft team members are setting an inspiring example of community service and engagement, reflecting their shared commitment to service.
