School Threat Being Investigated at MMS

This morning, MLive was made aware of a threat made against Monticello Middle School,
Monticello superintendent Sandra Lanehart issued this statement.
“The Monticello School District is aware of a threatening social media post. We have notified Monticello police department and they are actively investigating and are on campus. MSD administrators are taking all precautions while the investigation is ongoing. The safety and security of all students and staff is our top priority.”
