School Stabbing Reported at McGehee
April 17th, 2015 by iPhoneShortly after 10 AM, Friday morning, local police were called to McGehee High School, to the report of a stabbing, involving multiple students.
According to school superintendent Thomas Gaithen, three students were involved in the incident, with at least two of them receiving lacerations. None of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.
All alleged suspects were either taken into custody by police, or take to the McGehee Hospital for medical treatment, as needed.
The school was placed under lockdown for approximately 30 minutes. This was done more to ensure the integrity of the investigation, than for security, since all suspects were immediately detained.
