I think this is stupid. Mind you my parents are old fashioned, but he has the shotgun in his truck and it isn’t loaded, states he has no ill intent. Back in the 70s and 80s kids brought their hunting rifles to school, their shotguns, etc. And we never fussed because it was harmless. Now anytime we see a gun, real or fake, we freak out like the last 40 years of life never happened. Confinscate the gun, or make a rule where you must be informed of guns in the parking lot. if anyone fails to inform the principals then charge the student.
I had a picture of me taken when i was in high school in the late 90s where it was me, the dead turkey, and my shotgun. Students and teachers were excited to see it. And no person ever thought that I was about to blast everyone nor did it cross my mind. The majority of males had guns in their back glasses in gun racks.
In the 60s, my grandfather carried a 30/30 Winchester on the school bus with him and even killed a deer one time on his route. Haha
What a different world we live in now, uh?
Yes….I don’t want everyone with guns in parking lot nowadays either. Kids are the same nowadays BUT their world that they live in is not.
Exposure to violence, sex, drugs, TV, and the lack of Godly homes has negatively impacted this country.
Please Lord, lay your hand on this country as a nation. Amen
