School Board Approves Revised Sub-Teach USA Contract
June 20th, 2012 by Monticello SchoolsA revised contract with Sub-Teach USA was presented to the Monticello School Board. The new contract made the change to say that Sub-Teach will handle background checks, and the cost will fall on the substitute teachers.
“We can handle what we want, or throw it all to them. It’s something we would like to try. There are a lot of schools doing it and a lot considering it.” – Superintendent Harper
The board voted to approve the contract to use Sub-Teach USA to manage substitute teachers for the Monticello School District.
