July 16th, 2014 by iPhoneFirst of all I would like to thank everyone that participated in the runoff election today. I want to thank all the people that worked so hard for me and supported me. This vote of confidence is very humbling and I will do my very best to represent all the people of Monticello.
We are facing some major challenges here in Monticello with the water issue. This is a very important and expensive issue facing us and we need to meet this with unity of purpose and insure that the best interests of all the citizens of Monticello are best served. I will work with the city council, the municipal league and our attorney to insure the best resolution of this situation.
The door of the mayor’s office will always be open. I invite your opinion and I need your continued support in the days and weeks ahead.
