National Police Week in Washington DC, Honors Fallen DC Deputy – Local Officer Meets Trump

During the weeks activities, deceased Drew County Deputy Timothy Braden, who lost his life in an auto accident who while on duty, was added to the law-enforcement Memorial Wall in the nation’s capital.
Deputy Braden’s widow, Alyssa Braden and his oldest son, Drake, were able to be a part of the memorialization.
DCSO chief deputy Brian Slaughter, along with his wife, MPD dispatcher Amy Slaughter, accompanied the Bradens on the trip.
While at the actual event honoring our local hero, Deputy Slaughter also had the chance to meet and shake hands with President Donald Trump.
