Around 11 AM, Friday morning, the driver of this Mazda 3 attempted to pass a truck on highway 278 E., unaware that in front of the truck she was passing was a FedEx truck that was turning left.
The Mazda struck the driver’s door of the FedEx truck, then collided with a tree. She was transported to Drew Memorial Hospital by SEEMS, reportedly for minor injuries.
The Drew County Sheriff’s department worked the accident scene.
