The driver of this older model Dodge pick up truck the skate injury, last Friday afternoon, on state school road.
It is not known whether the truck ran in the ditch, then caught fire; or caught fire, before running into the ditch.
Monticello Fire Department responded to the scene, to extinguish the fire, which quickly spread to the dry brush along the road,
Drew county Sheriff’s Deputies investigated the accident.
Reggie’s Towing removed what was left of the pick up.
