Posting Jail Selfies on Facebook gets Suspect 10 Years in Prison
June 8th, 2022 by Joe BurgessOn January 14, MPD notified the Sheriffs Department that an inmate had been posting selfies, taken inside the Drew County Jail, on Facebook.
Skylar Cody Lemley, age 22 of Monticello, was the inmate shown in the selfies.
A search of his jail cell and day room found an AT&T cell phone hidden inside of a white sock.
Lemley accepted a negotiated plea of guilty, and received a 10 year prison sentence in the Arkansas Department of Correction, from Circuit Judge Robert Gibson, in court, last week.
ADC records show Lemley is currently serving a 10 year sentence, beginning in 2018, on multiple charges of commercial burglary, theft of property, theft of guns, and other charges.
