“Sexual Assault of Minor”Arrestee Has Bond Reduced

 Jerry Black, who was recently arrested for Sexual Assault of a Minor”, had his bond reduced to $10,000, Monday.
Among the condition of Black’s possible release, he will only be allowed to return to the residence of his parents in Texas, and have no contact with the victim, or the victim’s family. Normal stipulations of the bonding process will also be required.

Jerry Black, who moved into the Monticello area around 6 months ago, was arrested this week, and charged with “sexual indecency with a minor”, and “sexual assault in the 4th degree”.
Black, age 20, had his bond set at $75,000. He is currently incarcerated in the Drew County Detention Facility.

Why was his bond reduced so low? He may go to Texas and do the same thing!!!!!
I would also like to under under what stipulations his bond was reduced? Why was $75,000 perceived to be excessive?
