Posthumous Degree Presented To The Late Mark Ellis of Monticello

The University of Arkansas at Monticello presented a posthumous heavy equipment operator technical certificate to the late Mark Ellis of Monticello during December commencement on Saturday. Jim Ellis (left), a 2006 UAM CIS graduate and brother of the late Mr. Ellis, accepted the certificate from UAM Chancellor Karla Hughes.

Congratulations to my brother Mark Ellis. Thank you to my brother James Ellis for stepping up as always when needed. I wish I could have been there to stand beside you in honor of our brother Mark. Mark was a great guy and he was on a new path in his life when he passed away from a broken heart. I love and miss him dearly. I will add this achievement to all the many others you earned over your life and put it in your scrap book that our mother Joan Ellis kept for you and I will cherish it as much as I did you. Love Sis
