Pope & N.Gabbert Collision

Around 9:30, Thursday morning, a two car collision occurred at the intersection of East Pope in N. Gabbert St.
Sources at the scene indicate that an eastbound Ford Taurus pulled out across Pope Street, in front of a northbound Ford Fusion, causing the collision.
MASI transported one driver to DMH. Monticello Police investigated the accident. Reggie’s Wrecker removed the Fusion.
It is believed that the wire that came uncoupled was a telephone cable.
