Police Chase Takes 4 Suspects & 4 Illegal Weapons Off Local Streets

Tuesday afternoon, around 4 PM, agents from the Tenth Judicial Drug Task Force were working in an undercover capacity, where they had set up a meeting to purchase illegal firearms from a subject.
Agents arrived at the location to meet with a silver Chevy car to make the purchase. The Chevy then took off after seeing the unmarked vehicles.
The 10th Drug Task Force, along with MPD, DCSO, and ASP attempted to perform a traffic stop on the vehicle, but this suspects failed to stop.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle, including 4 suspects, wrecked out in Cleveland county. Three suspects were apprehended after they fled on foot. The 4th suspect turned himself in to Tri-County DTF on Wednesday. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
The 10th Drug Task Force wants to thank the Monticello Police Department, Drew County Sheriff Department, Arkansas State Police, Pine Bluff Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff Department, and Tri-County DTF for their assistance. It was a team effort that got 4 suspects and 4 illegal firearms off our streets.
