Plane Crash At Crossett

Around 9 AM, Monday morning, of a 1965 CESSNA 182HÂ Fixed wing single engine (4 seats / 1 engine) plane crashed at the Crossett airport, best known as Jack Stell Field.

The pilot and plane owner, Jerry Ozment of Crossett, only received minor injuries as the plane flipped and skidded into a grassy area near the runway.
Law enforcement, firefighters, and Pro-Med ambulance responded quickly to the scene.
Sources report that the Federal Aviation Administration has been notified of the occurrence and will soon begin their investigation.
