Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle at Walmart Stop-Light
March 31st, 2012 by Joe BurgessA 59 year old white male was crossing HWY 425, traveling east on foot, around 12:35, Friday afternoon, when he was struck by a Chevy pick-up truck.
The pedestrian was crossing, with a red light, and was entering the outside northbound lane, as the light changed.
The driver of the pick-up was approaching the red-light, and continued forward when it turned green. He was reportedly unable to see the man walking, since he had been in front of the stopped vehicles. No citations were issued by MPD.
MASI transported the injured man to DMH. Sources at the scene did not believe his injuries were life threatening.

I thought you at least received a citation when you ran over someone whether it was accidental or not… How is the victim?
