PB Sex Offender Arrested for Failure to Register Move to Monticello

A 60 year old registered sex offender from Pine Bluff was arrested by Monticello Police, after moving to Monticello and failing to failure as a sex offender with authorities.
James McDavid, was arrested after recently moving to Texas Street, and not notify law-enforcement, according to Detective Kenny Cox of the Monticello Police Department
McDavid is currently on parole in Jefferson County for sexual solicitation / indecency with/of a child.
District Judge Bruce Anderson set his bail at $5000 commercial bond. McDavid is reportedly also being held in the Drew county jail on a parole violation.
