The city Parks Committee met Tuesday night, covering many topics.

Sadie Johnson Bid.: finishing construction (hope to be ready for open house by end of February).

Amphitheater: should be ready with engineer/contractor in 2 weeks then city needs to add water and electrical line (weather pending) and need to finish 1 sidewalk for handicap accessibility

Recreation Grant: Equipment is being ordered by Wayne Davis Construction and then will be installed by this company

Bleacher Covers, Batting Cages,  Handicap Accessible Playground Equipment,  North Pavilion in Jordan Park –  finished reconstruction

Started construction for Press Box for new Girls Softball Field at Sports Complex

Started Concession/Restroom construction for soccer

Table discussion and vote on fees next P & R meeting Tuesday, 02/12/13 for deposit/rental of Sadie Johnson Center and amphitheater

Contracts for Leagues/Entities that utilize city property were discussed.  They will be mailed out soon, and should be returned during February, with the actual date to be included in the mail out (based on last years return date).
