Parks Committee Topics include Updates on Skate Park, Lake Trail, & Tennis Courts

Several topics and projects were updated at the recent parks committee meeting.
The skate park equipment, being from Crossett to the City Park area, should be here by the end of the month. The park will be located between the City Park School building and hte “visitor’s dresing rooms.”
Work continues on clearing the path for the Lake Trail. Approximately 70% of the southern portion of the trail has been cleared.
Work continues at the tennis courts, and should be completed this week.
Budget discussions for next year will be considered in the near future. Two topics suggested by the public include a bike trail and a dog park.

Where is the Lake Trail located?
Im glad they are finally doing something at the lake.
Now if they will install camping areas there will be more cash flow into Monticello
