Det. Tim Nichols resumed testimony Friday morning, in the first degree murder trial is Wes Pryor.
An arreset was made in Dumas around 7:30 pm, Wednesday night, on the suspect wanted by Monticello Police for the terroristic act, where over 50 bullets struck an occupied vehicle, earlier this month on a Monticello street.

After lunch recess, the court convened with the first witness returning to the stand. Upon questioning, he changed two statements, he said, after giving it some thought.
The First Degree Murder trial for Jerry “Wesley” Pryor Jr., age 34 of Monticello, begins this morning at the courthouse. Pryor is charged with First Degree Murder, Aggravated Residential Burglary, and Felon in Possession of a Firearms for the crime.
Just before 8 pm, Sunday night, December 9, Drew County Sheriff Dept. responded to a 911 call, reporting a shooting victim being found in a Drew County residence

The City Council called a special meeting, recently, to discuss water tank repairs on the Burlington Tank on HWY 278 East.
The Burlington water tower’s repair issues have been an ongoing source of concern for the City of Monticello. Recently Mayor Maxwell contacted Utility Service Co. Inc. about repair and maintenance of the tower. An employee of Utility Service Co. was present at the Council meeting and discussed services the company can offer the City of Monticello.
The Monticello Police Dept. are seeking the public’s help in locating 3 local suspects, who are wanted for a wide range of alleged charges.

This large tree, on HWY 35 East around 4pm, is one of multiple tree that fell, due to the thunderstorms that passed through Drew County, Thursday afternoon.
Both state and county road crews were called out to clear the roads, as law enforcement helped located the bloakcages, and deal with passing traffic.
