A group of local hunters snared and killed an 8 foot alligator at Harwood Hunting Camp in Chicot County, on a recent Friday night during this years alligator hunt.

Around 1:30,  Wednesday afternoon,  hey three-car collision  on HWY 278 E. between the Tillar turn off and Dollar Hill, near McGee closed the highway, and sent multiple passengers to area hospitals.

A 100th Birthday Party
will be held for Lois Nave,  Saturday, crom 2-4 pm, at the VFW Hut, at McCloy Park.

There will be a band playing “her era” music.

No gifts, please.  A birthday card with your memories of her and picture would be a treasure to her.

As 7 PM approaches, there’s been no verdict on whether the carnival will be allowed to open at the Drew County Fair, tonight.
