Last Tuesday, around 4:50 PM, the driver of a Ford Edge was pulling out of the Western Sizzlin parking lot, but did not see the northbound Chevrolet Impala, on Highway 425 North. The impala struck the Edge, lifting it on top of the Chevrolet’s hood.
MPD worked the crash scene. SEEMS responded and checked out both victims, who declined medical attention.
City employees are shown clearing right of ways over water and sewer lines on 278 W. that provide service to the sports complex and the intermodal water tank.
