OEC Team Competes in Las Vegas
November 10th, 2022 by Joe BurgessThe Monticello OEC Team recently completed, in Las Vegas, NV at the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow National Competition.
Team members include Jacob Woods, Braden Johnston, Samuel Napier, Levi Woods, Ryan Turner, Brad Johnston
Hot Rodders of Tomorrow is a nationwide high school engine building competition, where each student earns scholarships for attending and competing.
The Monticello team competed in 4 runs throughout the week. The best 3 out of 4 times were taken as well as a comprehensive engine exam score. There were 15 teams competing. Monticello took 8th place with their best run of a 27:39 with no errors.
