Two practical nursing students at the UAM College of Technology-McGehee have been awarded scholarships by the 2016 practical nursing graduating class.

Leeza Goudy of Monticello and Laura Gillum of Lake Village were chosen by the class scholarship committee based on their GPAs in successfully completed nursing classes.  Pictured from left are Kim Ray, class sponsor, clinical coordinator and nursing instructor, Kassidy Henley, a 2016 graduate from Star City, scholarship recipients Goudy and Gillum, Tiffany Burton, a 2016 graduate from Lake Village, and Sharon Cantrell, assistant vice chancellor.
