No Verdict on Carnival – Inspector Currently Checking Paperwork
September 23rd, 2015 by iPhoneAs 7 PM approaches, there’s been no verdict on whether the carnival will be allowed to open at the Drew County Fair, tonight.
The state inspector on site reportedly has approved inspections on the rides, and since he arrived at 5 PM this afternoon, and seems to be focusing on paperwork.

It was terrible they did not have rides ready to go tonight for the kids.they had plenty of time to let people know I have 8 year old and he was upset.and we couldn’t get out money back either.I think someone not doing there job and need new fair commitee
This seems like the biggest rip off ever. Two nights of the rides being closed is ridiculous! We pay $17-$20 for the armbands and then $2 to get in and the kids can not enjoy theirselves. And for the price of the armbands–there were not even enough rides. I hope the fair board-city counsel or whomever looks really hard into why this happened and figure out a solution where it doesn’t happen again.
