No One Injured in Minor School Bus Accident
April 15th, 2014 by iPhoneNo one was injured, Tuesday afternoon around 6 PM, when a local school bus was rear-ended by a Toyota Camry.
The Drew Central school bus and the Camry were both eastbound on Highway 35 E., when the bus stopped to let students off near Old Dermott Road.
The car failed to stop, and collided with the rear corner of the bus.
Drew County Sheriffs deputies worked the accident. Dan’s Towing removed the Toyota.
The few students reminding on the bus route were taken home on the bus.
The driver was cited for following too close.
