Neighbor with Fire Extinguisher Saves Apt. & Christmas for Family
December 12th, 2015 by iPhoneJust minutes after midnight, Friday night, the Monticello Fire Dept. was dispatched to Turtle Creek Apartments, on North Slemmons St., to an apartment fire.
Sources on the scene report that a neighbor, smelling smoke, found the fire and called authorities, before kicking in the door, carrying fire extinguishers, to contain the fire, until the fire department arrived.
As the photo, taken from the sidewalk, shows, the family’s Christmas gifts seem to have been saved.
Except for the area where the fire started, most of the damage is caused by smoke.
This was an expiriance for me knowing God is a good thing and I trust and believe that God was in control to see some in your apartment and go find the fire aat another neighbor apartment and to cry for help and people that did not live in the apartment complex heard my grand daughter screaming ran to kick the neighbor down stairs door in and help put the fire out. God say his children and protected us his angels has been watching over our lives for along time and I just need to give God the praise because the devil ment it for bad but God ment it for all our good. I haven’t been here nothing but a wk and the rest is still in front and I believe this test has been past.
