Nathan David Hamblen

Nathan David Hamblen, 46, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019, in Bella Vista. He was born May 7, 1973, to David and Suzanne Hamblen in Little Rock.
He was a 1991 graduate of Russellville High School and a 1995 graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a degree in History and Political Science. He completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Arkansas Law School in 2002. He also became a member of the Arkansas Bar Association in 2002.
Upon graduation from law school, Nathan worked at Walmart Stores, Inc. in Bentonville in the real estate transactions division. He also spent time as an attorney at his own Hamblen Law Office in Bentonville.
A kind-hearted man with a smile always on his face, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He touched many lives with his loving spirit and outgoing personality. He loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean Islands and out West. He sought the tranquility of nature and photographed it with a keen eye.
Nathan is preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne Hamblen; and his grandparents Edward and Lillian Hamblen, and Olen and Sue Cockrell.
He is survived by his father, David Hamblen of Russellville; his brother and sister-in-law, Joshua and Jessica Hamblen of Hixson, Tenn.; his nephew, David; his nieces, Lillian and Ella Rose Hamblen; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held October 6 at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests sending a donation to one of Nathan’s favorite charities—the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, the Literacy Council of Benton County, the 7hills Homeless Center or the Arkansas Public Theatre.
