Museum Gets $92,465 Grant
June 27th, 2018 by iPhoneThe Drew County Museum & Historical Society has received a grant for $92,465 from the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program.
The money will be used to repair the roof of the museum, and replace the damaged “tin tiles” that have been there for generations.
The total cost is expected to be up to $180,000, depending on how much structural work has to be done during the roof repairs and renovations.
Other fundraising effort’s, as well as an increased membership drive, our plan to assist with the project.
The museum is open to the public every Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
