Murder Trial Underway for Deputy’s Driving Death

Circuit Court Judge San Pope began jury selection, Wednesday at 9 am, in the murder trial for Samuel Vincent, who is facing multiple charges for the car crash death of Drew County Deputy Tim Braden.
Officer Braden was pursuing Vincent, last August, when both cars crashed on Barkada Road, killing the Deputy.
At 9:30, jury questioning began; by 10 am, 15 potential jurors had been released due to prior knowledge, news coverage and relationships with those involved.
Updates in the case will be posted, as the trial continues.
