MPD Solves String of Car Burglaries
April 13th, 2021 by Joe BurgessLast week, MPD brought in into a series of car break-ins, across multiple neighborhoods in Monticello.
Arrested was Jacob Derry, age 18 of Monticello.
According to MPD Chief Jason Akers, detectives have recovered some stolen property as well as clothing worn during the crimes.
Derry has been charged with breaking and entering and received a bond of $10,000.
He is currently incarcerated at the Drew County Jail.
