2 More Arrests Made in Connection with Recent Murder

According to Monticello Police Department Chief Jason Akers, two additional arrests have been made in connection with last Saturday’s (October 22,) fatal shooting of a Warren man.
According to Akers, MPD Detectives have arrested Alouyius Robinson, age 21, and Jarion Robinson, age 19, charging both with 1st Degree Murder in connection with the incident.
Both were in jail awaiting a first appearance, at the time of this press release.
The Monticello Police Department is investigating the Saturday shooting death of a Warren man that occurred at a trailer park on Winchester Road.
MPD Officers responded to a shots fired call Saturday and found Jkyron Marquis Hines, age 25, deceased outside of a residence.
Arrested in this case Brenisha Rayford, age 24. Rayford is charged with 1st Degree murder and hindering apprehension or prosecution.
Rayford was taken for a first appearance, Monday, and received a $200,000 bond.
A second person was questioned but was later released.
Detectives have executed multiple search warrants related to this case and are continuing to analyze physical and digital evidence as the investigation is still ongoing.
