MPD Drug Bust

According to Monticello Police Chief Jason Akers, while investigating a criminal case, Monticello Police Detectives were conducting a field interview of a person of interest.
During the course of this interaction, consent to search a residence where the suspect lived was obtained by detectives. Pursuant to that search, methamphetamine was located inside the residence. A vehicle present was also searched and more methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle as well.
Arrested in connection with the incident was Kevin Paquin, age 45, Wesley Reeves, age 29 and Aundrea Gill, age 22.
All were charged with possession of methamphetamine. The case was turned over to the 10th Drug task force for prosecution and further investigation .
