The Drew Co. Sheriffs Dept, Monticello Police and the Drug Task Force will be participating in Saturday’s  statewide prescription pill takeback program.

Arkansas ranks highly nationwide in the number of our youth who try prescription narcotics and many of those youth who do so obtain the drugs by accessing pills in their own homes or at the homes of friends or relatives.

Please dispose of your unused prescription drugs responsibly, not by throwing them into a trash can where they can be recovered or flushed down a toilet.
