MPD Arrest for Theft from Local Store

According to Monticello Police Chief Jason Akers, a Bradley County woman is facing charges for theft after being arrested by Monticello Police Detectives.
Elizabeth Dakota Baggett, age 21, was arrested by Detectives for theft of property over $1,000 after a report was made by a local business of potential thefts of store merchandise.
Baggett received a $5,000 bond and has since been released. Detectives located much of the stolen property at a local pawn shop.
