People should pay more attention to their surroundings. Hope all is ok.
I hope these folks fully recover. I was in a motorcycle accident & the guy said the same thing, “I didn’t see him.” I didn’t believe him then & still don’t. I hope we follow up on this couple, it is always good to hear the rest of the story.
These are our dear friends. My wife went to pick them up after the accident. They were kept in the hospital for 48 hours for observations and tests. He has several cracked ribs and both are very sore. According to my friend, as they passed a truck which turned to the right, the Ford entered the intersection without confirming the presence of another vehicle. He had no time to avoid her. They are now home, very sore and contemplating a different bike. We were with them on our Goldwing but left a day earlier than them. We had all ridden from AL and GA to Mena, AR for a ministers conference. Believe it or not, they were ejected from the motorcycle, flew over the car and landed in the road without destroying their leather gear. The good Lord had his hand on them throughout the ordeal.
Thanks to the community of Drew County. My husband and I are so grateful for the response and service we received from everyone at the scene of the accident and at the hospital. We were amazed by the genuine concern and care given. I am so relieved that this was not a tragic accident. The father of the driver of the other vehicle was sharing that it was on the anniversary of his son’s death by auto accident. He was on his way home from visiting his graveside when this accident occurred. We are grateful he had his daughter and granddaughter on the celebration of another Easter morning! We all live to praise a risen Saviour!
