Monticello Tennis Team Wins at State

The Monticello High School Tennis Team traveled to Russellville Monday and Tuesday to compete in the 4A State Tournament.
Maddie Ryburn and Makayla McGregor finished fourth in girl’s doubles play. Sam Mencer and Luke Reginelli finished fourth as well in boy’s doubles. Clint Pigott and Seth Horn were State Runners-up. The Boys Team as a whole was awarded State Runner- Up. Pigott and Horn qualified to compete in Overall State Tournament in North Little Rock next week. Other competitors from Monticello were Ruby Rivera, Caroline Groves, and Liam Borse. The MHS Tennis Team is coached by Susan Frost.
