Monticello Schools Names New Superintendent – Video
March 20th, 2015 by Joe BurgessThe Monticello school board held a special called meeting, Thursday evening, where the district’s new school superintendent was announced. Sandra Lanehart has been a Monticello resident for 10 years, and has served as the Star City school’s assistant superintendent for 15 years, having previous experience as principal and assistant principal.
Her husband, Charles Lanehart, is retired, and operates a small farm, here in Drew County.
Mrs. Lanehart attended Thursday’s meeting, speaking briefly to the board after she was announced.
