Monticello Native Named Arkansas Community Health Centers MVP
October 12th, 2018 by SubmittedByron Montgomery, Mainline Health System’s clinical director and provider at the Mainline Star City location, received the Community Health Centers of Arkansas MVP award at the Community Health Centers of Arkansas Conference.
The MVP award recognizes a valuable health center staff member who has demonstrated innovation and dedication. Montgomery challenges the status quo by being a catalyst for improving processes, services and technologies which have resulted in positive impacts on health center operations and patient outcomes.
Montgomery has worked for Mainline for over 7 years. He is described by his peers as being an outstanding team player, dedicated to Mainline and his patients, and involved in community events.

Montgomery is married to Hillary Montgomery who also works for Mainline. They have three children, daughter, Amelia and twin sons, Nash and Owen. They attend Pauline Baptist Church in Monticello.
When Byron isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family, woodworking, golf and rock music. He is a member of AANP, ANA, National Association of Community Health Centers, Arkansas Cancer Coalition, American Public Health Associates, STTI-Delta Theta Chapter, Arkansas Nurse Practitioner Association and is ANCC certified.
