Monticello Man Arrested for Sexual Indecency with a Child

A local man was arrested, Thursday, on the probable charge of sexual indecency of a child, for events that took place, Sunday.
Eric Bell, age 47 of Monticello, has been released on a $2,500 bond.
Although very few details are available, MLive has learned that the charges are based on “a statement,” rather than physical contact.
The victim was under the age of 14.
