Monticello Elementary Earns First Place At Tournament

Monticello earned the 1st place plaque at the Elementary Quiz Bowl Tournament held Tuesday, April 8, at the Southeast Educational Service Cooperative.
Representing the Billies were 6th graders Teddy Headlee (Captain), Joselyn Camarena, Kaylie Jester, and Madeline Stanley, and 5th graders Zach Akin, Zeke Babst, Trey Knight, and Cameron Armbrust (Scorekeeper). The team was coached by Anita Skinner, MSD Instructional Coordinator for Gifted and Talented Services.
