Monticello / Dewitt Football Fight Leads to Game Being Called With 4 Minutes To Go

With approximately 4:00 to go in the fourth quarter, of last nights Monticello vs. Dewitt high school football game, a skirmish on the field caused the game to come to an immediate end.

Monticello Schools issued this statement:
“We are aware of the incident that occurred at the Monticello vs Dewitt football game Thursday evening. We are investigating the circumstances of the incident and will take appropriate administrative action according to district policies.”
