Monticello Dance Academy – Competition In Eldorado

A few students from Monticello Dance Academy’s competition team competed at Motion Dance Force Competition in Eldorado on November 4th.
Students received an adjudication score from the judges based on their performance. The highest adjudication award was a Dynamic Platinum, then Platinum, Top Gold, and Gold.
Sidney Ballard perform her jazz solo and received a Platinum. Lillian Lay performed her tap solo and received a Dynamic Platinum. Alex Pennington performed a jazz and a contemporary solo and received a Dynamic Platinum for both routines. Anna Boren performed her tap solo and received a Dynamic Platinum and was also the Top Overall Senior Solo. Jensen and Olivia Harrod performed their hip hop duet and got a Dynamic Platinum. Emmalee Satterlee, Logan Fletcher, and Kate Brown performed their tap trio and got a Dynamic Platinum and Top Overall Duet/Trio. Madelyn Terry and Olivia Harrod performed their jazz duet and received a Top Gold.
Students are under the instruction of Allison Neill (owner/operator of MDA), and instructors Toni Findley and Charlee Carter. Angel Hairston and Kyle Plunkett were also guest choreographers for a couple of the routines.
