Monticello Attorney Appointed To Arkansas Supreme Court Committee On Professional Conduct
January 3rd, 2018 by SubmittedMonticello attorney Paul Keith has been appointed to a six-year term on the Arkansas Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct.
Keith was among 8 new members named in the Arkansas Supreme Court’s December 7, 2017 per curiam order to replace those whose terms had ended. Among those retiring members that were thanked by the Court for their service was James A. Ross of Monticello.
Keith is a partner in Gibson & Keith, PLLC, a four-member firm in Monticello that began in 1981. Keith and his wife, Kandi, live in Hamburg and have three grown children. He isalso serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Arkansas Bar Association. He has served as City Attorney for Hamburg for 15 years.
The Committee on Professional Conduct is charged with enforcement of the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct for lawyers in the State. has It consists of 28 members from across the State, with 4 attorneys from each Congressional District, 4 at-large attorney members, and 8 non-attorney members. and is charged with enforcement of the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct for lawyers in the State. The Committee also has 8 non-attorney members and 4 at-large attorney members.
